The Inspiration
Snowy egrets are one of my favorite birds to observe along Florida’s coast. Their brilliant white feathers, graceful movements, and cheerful yellow feet always stand out against the sand and surf. They have an incredible patience, as they scan the shallow water before snatching their next meal.
This design was inspired by photographs I took at Flagler Beach, where I spent time watching a snowy egret quietly searching the shoreline.
