This bear is the start of my curiosity and intrigue with the Florida fauna and flora. One of our friends experienced this bear walking through their back yard and I bought that house seven years later. It backs up to a beautiful preserve. You could hear the pair of barred owls calling to each other on a daily basis. A bobcat was sighted and neighbors told me she would bring her kittens out to play. Many deer would visit daily. It is and ogoing delight to experience these beautiful animals.
