Foundation Building

Curiosity, wonder, and creativity got run over by administrivia for the past few months. Not a lot of art to share this week, so I'll just do a flip-through of my sketchbook or swatch book.
I've moved 12, 13, 14 times (I've lost track) in the past 18 years. That means I've either downsized and condensed or upsized and collected. It's a bit ridiculous the number of times I've done that.
When I move, I give myself a year to completely unpack and start experimenting with the flow of how I exist in a house. One of the things I've started including was building creativity into the storage and flow and setup of my space. It will still take me usually 3 years of adjusting and trying things until I get it just right.
Two years ago I downsized into two rooms and a finished art shed in the back yard to support my aging parents. I also shifted my art focus from making glass beads and jewelry to building a stationery brand, so my art studio needs a full reset. I'm not completely stopping on the glass. I like it too much and I'm going to experiment with some charms for journals. But I didn't have the physical stamina to make the number of beads that need to be made to make a living. With stationery, I can create the art and put it on different products and send it out for production.
I got some big administrative things done like getting my Shopify and Faire sites uploaded. Currently, I'm stuck on reorganization ideas. I'm the old school type that doesn't really feel comfortable showing the mess until I have a plan.
Solid foundations are an important part of growth, and getting organized is a must. It just means creativity is less visible for the moment. How do you keep maintaining your creative routine when you have an intense week? Or weeks?
